In this paper, a printed microstrip-line-fed antenna based on self shape blending algorithm is\ndesigned to completely cover the 2.4/5.2/5.8-GHz WLAN bands and 2.5/3.5/5.5-GHz WiMAX bands.by\nimprove the bandwidth of the antenna. By using self shape blending algorithm, the shape of the rotating\nslot and the parasitic patch is changed. This excites additional resonance, which makes impedance\nmatching at high frequencies better. Measured results show that the proposed antenna can operate from\n2.26GHz to 6.13 GHz with a reflection coefficient less than -10dB. Compared with the microstrip line-fed\nprinted rotating slot antenna without shape blending algorithm, the bandwidth of the antenna increases by\nmore than 0.7GHz. The obtained impedance bandwidth reaches expected targets. The experiment indicates\nthat by choosing the right point to merge, the bandwidth enhancement can be achieved. And self shape\nblending algorithm can be used to optimize other kinds of antennas. The impact of the antenna geometry\non the impedance bandwidth has been simulated, investigated and analyzed.

Partnerships, governed through contracts, present transaction costs. This research has brought the concepts worldwide of Transaction Cost Economics and its attributes to investigate and analyze the transactions that occur during product development. A case research was conducted at one of the world\'s largest aircraft manufacturers. The results were the confirmation that transaction costs are presented in product development and a deeper description on how transaction cost are presented on each of the product development transactions analyzed, showing the presence or absence of assets specificity, high frequency of exchange and moral hazard. For product development theory, this research has contributed when it relates aspects of transaction costs as potential causes of misalignments and mistrust in partnerships pointed in the current literature. This research confirms the theoretical assumptions and provides a new method for analyzing transaction costs that can be applicable in other empirical studies. The practitioners find in this study a knowledge that can be used to improve current procedures, be it in hiring partners or in defining a dynamical governance strategy as well.

Debates over economic growth generally focus on factor supply, especially capital accumulation, and technological capacity. Quality of human life, distribution of national income among citizens are evaluated in terms of their effects on growth performance, in this study. The relationship between growth, human development, and income distribution in Turkey is analyzed with ARDL test using the data of 1990-2017 period. Findings indicate that the series are cointegrated. A long run relationship was determined between Gross Domestic Product per capita (GDP), and human development index (HDI) and the measure of income distribution, namely the Gini coefficient (GINI). Granger causality test indicates a unidirectional causality from HDI to GDP. Based on the long-run estimation results, it has been observed that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between GDP and HDI, while there is a negative and statistically significant relationship between GDP and GINI, in the long-run.

In this article, we study a new class of initial value problems for\nfractional neutral functional differential equations within nite delay involving a Caputo fractional derivative. The Krasnoselskii-Schaefer type fixed point theorem is applied to obtain the existence of solution of the given problem. At the end, we provide an example to demonstrate the main results.

The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanical and microstructural properties of GGBS based geo polymer light weight concrete. Several proportions of mixes were trialed with GGBS as binder, M.Sand as fine aggregate and coconut shell (CS) as coarse aggregate. The GGBS binder was activated using sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide as alkaline activator solution. The Na2SiO3/NaOH (alkaline activator) ratio was taken as 2.5 and the concentration of NaOH solution was maintained at 10 M. The variables considered in this testing include: alkaline solution/binder ratio of 0.40, 0.45, and 0.50 and varying volume proportion of coconut shell as coarse aggregate (CSA) 1:1.8:0.5, 1:1.8:1.0, 1:1.8:1.5, 1:1.8:2.0, 1:1.8:2.5, 1:1.8:3.0, 1:1.8:3.5, and 1:1.8:4.0. The microstructural properties were evaluated using SEM and EDS on the mix with varying volume of CSA. The alkaline solution/binder ratio and percentages of coconut shell used are found to be most influential parameters for improving properties of the light weight concrete based on geo polymers concrete and waste coconut shell.

The involvement of rural women in homestead gardening may play a vital role in boosting income and decision making power of rural women. To find out the determinants of homestead gardening and its effects on income, decision making, and empowering of rural women performed this study. A total of 150 women were interviewed and both descriptive and econometric model was used to analyse the data. For comparing mean values between two groups Mann- Whitney test, to analyze the adoption factors the probit model, and to rank the problems faced by respondents Problems Confrontation Index (PCI) were used. The results revealed that age, year of schooling, and farm size have positively influenced on homestead gardening. The annual income of growers\' group was 40% higher than the non-growers group. Women in grower groups gained more power to decide on household production, access to credit and offspring education. Women’s empowerment indicators namely control over income, ownership of assets and participation in social activities were significantly reflected in growers’ group.Women practice homestead gardening potentially increased household food production and its generated higher income, thus helps to get more attorneys on taking decisions which directly reinforced women’s empowerment.

Malaria remains one of the major endemic infectious diseases in the world and it continues to affect sub-Sahara Africa and Sudan. The distribution of the disease varies from region to another according to different climatic, geographic, and socio-economic variables, which generally contributed to the increase of malaria cases in Sudan. This paper aims to provide a means of investigating the malaria transmitted diseases, and mapping of the environmental factors, using the Geographic information system (GIS) approach to understand and analyze the malaria’s transmission dynamics and incidence distribution in the south Darfur state, Sudan.

�Outside eating� and �quick meal� is a widespread practice in Nigeria and Mr Bigg�s is one of the first chains of fast-food restaurants in Nigeria. With tremendous experience, Mr Biggs is serving its customers. Over the time customer eating habit has been changed, their perceived value (CPV) has shifted, new food items have been introduced, and technology has created an effect. The study examines how service quality (SQ) ensures customer satisfaction in Mr Bigg�s. There is no conspicuous study in Nigeria that works on this issue. The study focused on customer satisfaction (CS) of Mr Bigg�s through its service quality. Previous studies showed that the pressure of modern lifestyles has a negative effect on health and may cause high-stress levels and solicit for relaxing and excursion. A quick meal can contribute to reducing monotony. The questionnaire was adopted from the study of Giritlioglu et al. (2014) with some required adjustments. The study collected data from 219 respondents from Abuja, Jos, Bauchi, Lagos and others with a structured questionnaire having 46 questions (41 statements and five demographic information). Data was collected through a questionnaire at judgmental sampling technique (non-probability and purposive). Collected data were checked and analysed using SPSS and PLS-SEM (SmartPLS), respectively. Exploratory data analysis includes such primary checkings such as missing value treatment, data normality test, homoscedasticity checking, linearity test, autocorrelation checking and collinearity. A measurement model and structural model were tested using SmartPLS software and found model fit. The findings revealed that SQ has an impact on CS significantly. CPV partially mediated the relationship between SQ and CS. The study adopted two theories EDT (expectation disconfirmation theory) and SERVQUAL Model. The findings supported are those of previous studies and the theoretical assumptions of theories. The findings might provide some insights for Mr Bigg�s and other fast-food restaurants in developing countries. Mr Bigg�s may be recommended to focus on customer satisfaction by responding to some loopholes in its service quality. A new fast business may be suggested to develop and establish service-based businesses. Finding the relationship between fast food service quality and customer satisfaction while customer perceived value partially mediates this relationship is the significance of the study. A small number of respondents and only a few branches of Mr Bigg�s is one of the limitations of this study. Price of food, advertisement, social media effect may be considered in future research.

Aluminum alloy AA5083 is attracted in naval architecture field to fabricate ship and boat due to its high corrosive resistance behavior with sea water. In this investigation, AA5083 was reinforced with graphine (Gr), boron nitride (BN) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) partilces using stir casting method and the mechanical and tribological behavior were analyzed for naval architect applications. Mechanical study showed that the AA5083/Gr/Al2O3 composite exhibited a maximum tensile strength and hardness of 317 MPa and 153 HB at 16wt% Al2O3 respectively. Tribological study displayed that the wear rate of AA5083/Gr/Al2O3 and AA5083/Gr/BN composites depended on applied load and sliding velocity. AA5083/Gr/BN composite showed more wear rate compared to that of AA5083/Gr/Al2O3 composite due to the reinforcement of the composite with lower hardness BN particle. Hence, as the AA5083/Gr/Al2O3 composite showed improved tensile and hardness properties and displayed less wear, this could be a suitable material to be applicable in naval architecture field.

The traditional stir casting process has been utilized in the manufacture of particle reinforced metal matrix composites for quite a long period of time. The serious issue of this process lies in getting adequate wetting of particles by a fluid metal and getting a homogeneous scattering of reinforced particles in the matrix. This work has been carried out through visualization experiments. Molten aluminum was replaced by a glycerol water mixture, which has similar characteristics. SiC particle was then replaced by the graphite particle. Scaled up transparent crucible was used in the stirring experiments. Various factors influence the distribution of reinforced particles in metal matrix composite (MMCs). This paper displays the work which involves inspection of the impact of viscosity, impeller position, stirring speed and blade geometry on the vortex height, dispersion time, settling time and clustering of particles using the glycerol-water model. The vortex height and dispersion time were estimated using a high-resolution camera which can easily capture the graphite particles distributed through a transparent glycerol water model. The distribution of graphite particles was also studied for getting an understanding of the effect of the vortex height, dispersion time and the clustering of particles on the distribution of the particles.

Problems regarding nurse performance are problems that are always faced by hospital management. So the hospital management needs to know what factors can improve nurse performance. The impact of a decrease in nurse performance can affect the quality of health services to be suboptimal. There are 4 variables used in this study, namely the leadership variable, the religiosity variable, and the local philosophy variable as the exogenous latent variable and the nurse performance variable as the endogenous latent variable. in analyzing the research data, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method is used with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach in finding influential variables and the magnitude of the coefficient. The results obtained in this study are the Leadership variable, the Local Philosophy variable, and the Religiosity variable that has a significant and positive effect on the Nurse Performance variable at the Bima District General Hospital.

BACKGROUND: Antenatal care (ANC) in Indonesia has been standardised with ten T’s principle (10T). However, the implementation of this service has not optimised yet. Therefore, a comprehensive of 10T ANC implementation is necessary to improve maternal health, including reducing mortality rate during delivery. We developed a new ANC Model, known as ANC Rini, which is integrated with 10T antenatal care. \nOBJECTIVE: This study was aimed to examine the effect of 10T ANC Rini Model on the skill of midwives in the Community Health Centre of Tangerang, Banten.\nMETHODS: The study was a quasi-experimental with the quantitative method and has been conducted in 2018. A total of 12 midwives and 76 pregnant women were involved in the study, which has been randomly selected. The data was obtained by observation all midwives who implement ANC to pregnant women with provided checklist form. All data were analysed statistically by using t-dependent test using SPSS. The level of significance was alpha= 0.05.\nRESULTS: The study shows that all indicators of 10T ANC were implemented by midwives, including height measurement, weight measurement, blood pressure measurement, fundal height measurement, foetal heart rate, FE supplementation, tetanus vaccination, case management, counselling, and mid-upper arm circumference measurement. \nCONCLUSION: training using ANC Rini model could elevate the level of 10T ANC services be better and more accurate according to 10T ANC checklist especially for counselling step.

To solve the problem of transceiver and transmitter isolation in the digital radio frequency storage (DRFM) interference system, the conventional technology mostly focuses on the research of a single adaptive filter. The disadvantages of this methods lie in several parts including the mutual restriction of convergence rate, steady-state error and calculation complexity. A new algorithm of combinations of adaptive filters is designed and developed. Firstly, considering the advantages and disadvantages of the two combined algorithms separately, the algorithm selects two methods that can complement each other, which are affine projection (AP) and least mean square (LMS) algorithm; Moreover, based on convex combination, a convex combinations of affine projection and least mean square (CVX-AP-LMS) algorithm is proposed, and the algorithm solution process is given. After the experiments, the results show that the combinations of adaptive filters cancellation method integrate the advantages of fast convergence rate of large step size LMS and small mean square deviation (MSD) of the AP algorithm, and achieve similar convergence rate and MSD as recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a directly infectious disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis which can attack various organs, especially the lungs. Pulmonary TB can be transmitted through the air, the longer and closer a person\'s contact with the source of transmission, the greater the chance of contracting it. This study tried to study the effect of the counseling model on improving the quality of life of MDR-TB patients in Undata Hospital, Palu. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and post-test randomized design. The sample in this study amounted to 38 respondents who were randomly selected then the data were analyzed using the two different tests means the Wilcoxon test and the two different tests mean independent namely the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that there was a counseling model for the quality of life of patients with MDR-TB both in the domain. (Physical health), domain 2 (Psychological Conditions, Domain 3 (Social Environment) Domain 4) The fourth quality of life domain for MDR TB patients p-value (0.001) is smaller 0.05 MDR before and after the permission given to the patient MDR-TB which gives good priority to the quality of output.

Due to the shortcomings of low frequency band utilization, fixed waveform parameter configuration, and high synchronization requirements, OFDM technology is no longer suitable for new scenarios in future communications. F-OFDM technology is evolved based on OFDM technology, While F-OFDM technology has the advantages of OFDM technology, it can also flexibly configure parameters and support asynchronous transmission, which is more suitable for future communication requirements. However, the F-OFDM system has the problem of high PAPR. This article analyzes the F-OFDM system using the SLM algorithm and the companding transform algorithm respectively. The simulation results show that the system using the companding transform algorithm has a higher bit error rate. Therefore, based on the improved companding transform algorithm, a joint algorithm of Multi-segment selection companding transform and SLM (MSCT-SLM) algorithm is proposed. Finally, simulation and analysis prove that the joint algorithm can effectively suppress system PAPR while maintaining good bit error rate performance.

This study was designed to assess the reliability of geographic information using satellite image information in ungauged basins. For this, this study constructed geographic information using actual gauged data and satellite information data and conducted runoff analysis through S-RAT, a rainfall–runoff model, and performed the comparison and analysis of geographic information and runoff data. For actual gauged data, the gauged geographic information of the Water Resources Management Information System (WAMIS) was collected, and for satellite information, the image information of moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) observation sensor loaded on Terra Satellite was collected. As analysis areas, three basins where mountains occupy more than 80% and another three basins where urban areas occupy more than 7% in the Han River basin were selected. According to the analysis result, the gauged information and satellite image information showed great difference in runoff, maximum 50% in peak flood and maximum 17% in total flood, in the rivers with many urban areas, while the runoff difference in the rivers with many mountains showed maximum 13% in peak flood and 4% in total flood. What showed the greatest difference in image information was land use, and it turned out that the MODIS satellite recognized the urban rivers as cities for more than maximum 60% compared to WAMIS-gauged data. Meanwhile, in the forest area, the MODIS satellite image showed error of less than 5% of the WAMIS-gauged data, which indicates that it has higher applicability in Mountain Rivers.

The results of a national survey conducted by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in collaboration with the Center for Research on Pranata, University of Indonesia, showed the prevalence of drug-psychotropic abuse among junior, high school and tertiary students in 30 provincial capitals in 2013 by 3.4%. Trends in the number of abusers among adolescents show an increase every year. Until 2013 the number of drug abusers among adolescents increased 3x from 2009.. This study was conducted to determine the direct and indirect factors affecting drug abuse in teen age. The study used mix methode qualitative and quantitative study method through univariate analysis. The study population consisted of family and teen’s drug abuser, and a sample of 40 of them was taken. The measurement results of univariate analysis Statistics on the influence of variables in the structural model and overall variables showed a positive and significant effect. The T-statistic value of all variables was above the critical value (1.96). The results of the test indicated that the empowerment and social support variables, directly and indirectly, influenced factors abilities. Knowledge, perceptions, attitudes and parenting had impacts directly on the factors abilities. Knowledge, family support, perceptions, attitudes and parenting variables had an influence on drug abuse abilities of teen. A controlled trial study should be done to see the impact of this model on reducing the risks during rehabilitation.

In the present study, phycofabricated selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) were prepared by the filtrate of Spirulina platensis after ultrasonication of their biomass. The biosynthesis of SeNPs was confirmed by using UV-visible and FTIR spectroscopic analyses. The zeta potential of biogenic SeNPs was 32.9 ± 8.12 mv that caused their stability. TEM micrographs elucidated the spherical shape of biogenic SeNPs with a mean average size of 79.40 ± 44.26 nm. Biogenic SeNPs showed potential antimicrobial activity against gram-negative bacteria and yeast fungi C. albicans ATCC10231. No toxic effect was observed for SeNPs on normal kidney and liver cell lines. Biogenic SeNPs could be considered as a hopeful choice for future therapeutic applications because of their good biocompatibility and reactivity.

The present paper aims to deals with the investigation of the effect of tool rotation speed (TRS) on mechanical and microstructural features of friction stir butt welded joint of 6.35 mm thick dissimilar AA6061-T6 and AA7075-T651 aluminum alloy plates. Three tool rotation speeds were chosen, namely, 1000 rpm, 1200 rpm, and 1400 rpm and 75 mm/min was chosen as the constant tool traverse speed. A scrolled shoulder with a straight cylindrical threaded tool pin made up of H13 tool steel was used for making the joint. Optical microscope (OM), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Digital X-Ray machine, tensile testing machine and microhardness tester were employed for the study of the microstructural features and analysis of the mechanical properties of welded joints. A joint made with the tool rotation speed of 1200 rpm confirmed the provision of the optimum tensile strength of 242 MPa as a result of the development of homogeneous grains at the stir zone than those of the results provided other tool rotation speeds. The results also endorsed joint made with 1200 rpm providing a maximum micro-hardness value of 136 HV at the stir zone, and a fine-grained microstructure when comparing the outcomes of other tool rotation speeds due to the recrystallization process. The tensile fractured samples show the fractures were due to ductile as well as the brittle in nature with the variations in the tool rotation speeds.
