Introduction : Recently there are studies which particularly investigated efficiency of silver on neoplastic diseases. and many other diseases. Low level laser therapy(LLLT) has been shown to modulate biological processes and there are many studies that investigate the effect of LLLT, which is used in the treatment of cancers currently. Methods: Breast(MCF7) and colon(Caco 2) cells were cultured and cells were divided into eleven main groups. Cells were incubated with colloidal silver for 24 hrs. Colloidal silver and LLLT exposure separately and together performed on MCF7 and Caco 2 cell cultures. The effects of colloidal silver and LLLT were invastigated on all molecular pathways of apoptosis. Results: It was found that the levels of apoptosis in colloidal silver group were significantly increased in both cancer cells compared to control group. In both cancer cells, transient receptor protein vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) channel stimulator Cpsin administration resulted in significantly increased apoptosis levels compared to the control group, in colloidal silver + LLLT group the apopitosis level significantly reduced compared to colloidal silver-only group.Conclusions: It has been shown that colloidal silver significantly increases apoptosis in breast and colon cancer cells, however LLLT administration decreases apoptosis in both wavelength and suppressed apoptotic effect of colloidal silver significantly on these cells.

Selection of a species for forest plantation is one of the strategic decisions for sustainable forest resource management. In this regard, a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is developed. Breaking down the decision problem leads to a hierarchy with four levels. The first level is devoted to the goal for the hierarchy. At the second level, we inserted six criteria. At the third level, the subscales (indices) are inserted. Finally, different three species as alternatives are inserted at the last level. Results show that among the criteria, the protective- environmental function obtained a higher score value. The diagonal class transmittance of each species get a higher score value among subscales at the third level. The final ranking of alternative proved that oak was the most suitable species for plantation activities at the study area. Results of this paper are useful for decision-making process and many valuable purposes such as rehabilitee of forests and planning.

Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus spp.) cultivation is a very simple low cost technology. Four Pleurotus spp. viz. P. ostreatus, P. florida, P. pulmonarius and P. flabellatus were grown in 30 ± 20C in non-sterilzed rice straw. All the biochemical studies were done using 70% methanolic extract of dried powder of mushroom fruiting bodies. Flavonoids, total phenol, orthodihydric phenol content of all the species were measured in addition to their protein and carbohydrate contents. P. ostreatus showed highest protein and carbohydrate. P. flabellatus showed highest flavonoid. P. florida showed highest phenol content whereas P. florida and P. pulmonarius showed highest orthodihydric phenol contents. Antioxidant activities of the mushroom extract in terms of ABTS and DPPH oxidation and reducing power was estimated in all the species. Though ABTS scavenging activities are more or less similar but DPPH scavenging activities differ markedly in different Pleurotus spp. and P. ostreatus showed the highest result (74+2.2%). The highest reducing power was found in P. florida. The fruiting body as well as mycelial extract of Pleurotus species showed antibacterial activities in as low as 36-45 mg fresh fruiting body equivalent which is comparable to standard commercial antibiotic erythromycin. The present study does not establish the superiority of any single species but in general all the studied Pleurotus species contained different nutraceuticals which may be utilized for the benefit of nutritional as well as health status of people from third world countries.

This paper describes development of architecture for integrated informational Web-based e-trading business process management system. An approach is justified for embedded informational system architecture formation based on typical IT solutions. A Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concept is offered for architectural implementation of the Web-based system. Typical informational systems that belong to the Web-system are used as services. The web-services implement SOAP protocol based on WSDL (Web Services Description Language) and UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) specifications. Application of ESB and SOA provides scalability of Web-based e-trading management system, possibility for their enhancement and upgrading. The principle of basic architecture of Internet has been implemented in the architecture of integrated trading informational system taking into account transition to information level.

For this study, X-Ray radiographic tests and tensile strength tests of AISI 304- Hardox 400 steels welded by Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) welding have been performed. AISI304 - Hardox 400 steel couples with a thickness of 4 mm were joined and welded by using PTA welding method in constant feed rate and different energy inputs. While the welding strength of these welded specimens was examined by using tensile strength tests, the radiography test of these specimens was examined by using X-ray diffraction method. The the fracture surface of welding zone is examined by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis. The fatigue strength of Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) welding samples increase due to higher deep penetration in welding zone with increasing welding power in chosen conditions. The best properties are observed with the specimens welded at Hardox 400 - AISI 304 steel double 40 A heat input. As a result of tests conducted, it is determined that AISI304- Hardox 400 steel couples showed a sufficiently high weldability by PTA welding method

In this research, the effect of adding mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) to ration was studied on performance, characteristics of carcass, and microbial population of blind intestine in broiler chickens. In this experiment, 200 one-day old broiler chicken were feed by 5 mastic gum levels (0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, and 1%) in life time range of 1-42 days. In 1-10 days age, using various levels of mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) doesn’t have a significant effect on mean feed consumption, weight increase, and food conversion ratio (FCR) (P>0.05), and birds with 1% food conversion ratio in their ration had feed consumption, less weight increase, and smaller FCR. In 11-24 days age, 25-42 days age, and all feeding period (1-42 days), using mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) in various levels significantly increases feed consumption and body weights than a control group (P<0.05). Microbial population such as E. coli and coliforms significantly reduced using mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) (P<0.05). Adding mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) in ration increased the population of Lactobacillus bacteria, and they were significantly more than the ones in the control group. According to the results of this research, adding 0.5% mastic gum (Pitacia altantica) to broiler chicken ration can improve performances of these chickens.

The effect of anticorrosive layer on the fatigue life of the 2024-T-351-aluminium alloy has been studied in the present investigation. The fatigue tests were conducted on the aluminium alloy with and without anodizing to evaluate the fatigue life. The results indicate that the fatigue life of the anodized specimens is significantly less than untreated specimens. Further, experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of anodizing process parameters on the fatigue life of anodized specimens. These results show that the fatigue life of the anodized aluminium alloy can be improved by controlling the anodizing process parameters such as process temperature, voltage, and time of immersion.

Assessing the digital mobile e-learning whether to affect school efficiency is an important yet complex issue. Consequently, this study goal of this research is to evaluate the innovative teaching to affect school efficiency (total efficiency (TE), pure technical efficiency (PTE) and scale efficiency (SE) estimated by the data envelopment analysis (DEA) through using digital mobile e-learning of high school in Taiwan. Additionally, the Tobit regression model (TRM) is employed to discuss whether the other determinants affect using digital mobile e-learning of school efficiency. The findings can briefly be concluded as follows. The empirical results of this research indicate the following results: (1) Importing digital mobile e-learning can really enhance the efficiency of school management. (2) technical Efficiency (TE), pure technical efficiency (PTE) and scale efficiency (SE) in the TRM analysis, it also indicates that school size, teacher-student ratio, school high-vocational attribute, especially the numbers of technical teachers in teaching or consulting about digital mobile e-learning knowledge and numbers of Tablet PC (the proxy for digital mobile e-learning) an important role in affecting these three efficiency of school management. Besides, the results show of total equipment expenses associated with tablet PC has a small negative influence on school management efficiency. Due to increasing costs for network equipment small effects on teaching and learning among teachers and students. The results of this research can also be the reference for educational authorities when formulating policies and regulations for promoting digital mobile e-learning.
